Samurai Museum

World's Top Collection of Samurai treasures linked from Tokugawa and Shingen to Musashi & Soho

We are building a unique Samurai Museum in the heart of Kamakura - the birthplace and capital of Samurai culture - right near the Daibutsu of Kamakura - Japan's most recognizable landmark and the world's most famous Buddha statue. In this Museum we will showcase original and antique treasures linked to history's greatest Samurai from Tokugawa and Shingen to Musashi and Takuan Soho. We will also carry original masterworks of Japan's greatest Samurai painters from Hokusai & Sesshu to Haranobe & Tawaraya -- and we will teach Japanese art at this Museum where people can actually see the masterworks in person. Furthermore, we will also teach Samurai Buddhism in this Museum where people can actually pray before the same Buddhist treasures used by the greatest heroes and saints of Japan including Shinran, Nichiren, Hakuin and Takuan Soho. It is very important for Japanese people to be proud of Japanese art, culture and spiritual traditions of Japan's Golden Age. More information at www.SamuraiBuddhistMuseum.jp
